| The first and most ambitious unit to join CORE VEIL, sym-PHONY is a chaotic unit led by Kanae Suzuki (YUME). With an almost overabundant amount of fanservice, this unit seeks to thrill all who see their over the top performances. Due to their striking appearances, they find themselves getting publicity primarily through fashion modeling, commercials, variety shows, dramas, and movies. |

| Passion first and foremost, Ren puts their all into helping their units with as much enthusiasm as is humanly possible. They are an in-the-moment type person and tend to frequently forget things they did even the day before. Excluding unit work, of course. They are very disorganized and chaotic when working but somehow manage to get things done before timelines come by. Occasionally, they are asked to join sym-PHONY in their performances and appear as backing vocals, crowd control, and other miscellaneous, directly involved roles. When performing, they have a more feminine leaning voice which they use to create a more drastic contrast between vocals. |

| Ren is an adult of average height. They have dyed purple hair that gets darker at the lower section. They are always seen wearing platforms and visual kei fashion, unless it is a "lazy" day. |

| Ren is an enthusiastic yet lazy person. Despite this, they are always seen either working for their units or working on other separate jobs. Brimming with passion for creation, they tend to overwork themself when it comes to working on unit ideas and end up exhausted by the end of the day. |
| They would claim themselves to be one of the most normal people at Ensemble Square, however this is up for debate. |

| Ren was born in the United States to American parents in the Midwest. They decided to move to Japan in order to engage more with the visual kei scene. |
| Ren grew up in rural Illinois as the only child to two 40 year old parents. Due to their parent's age when Ren was born, the family never really did a whole lot together and stayed home for the most part. Ren never really minded this though because they were a homebody and enjoyed being able to stay home. |

| Never lacking energy, Kanae is always making new friends and finding himself lost in large spaces. He’s a free-spirited and easygoing individual most of the time, but when he needs to get things done he cracks down on the fun and gets to business quickly. Kanae sings with an unforgettable, powerful voice destined to ingrain itself into every onlookers memory. His performances are grand and eccentric, often involving messes being left behind for the rest of the unit to help him clean up. |

| Kanae is a slightly shorter than average adult male. He has flashy pinkish-purple hair with darker purple highlights. A small part of his hair is braided to the right. He has bright yellow eyes. |

| Kanae is a seemingly always energetic and positive force to be reckoned with. He's always there to cheer on his friends and fellow unit-mates and even makes it a point to make sure he is able to do whatever he can for his fans. Sometimes this leads to him being low on money but he always has the rest of his unit to fall back onto for help. |
| Out of said unit, he is the closest to Toshiki and greatly looks up to him -- both literally and figuratively. He frequently stays at Toshiki's apartment to the point where he has his own bed. He claims it's due to the closeness to Ensemble Square and his college but the others can see through this easily and see he just wants to be closer to them. His own place is actually his deceased aunt's old house that he begged and plead for his parents to keep to the side for him after she passed when he was in high school. |

| Kanae was born to a idol and manager couple, his father being the idol and mother being his manager. They met while he was on tour in the United States where she was managing one of his performances alongside his manager at the time. |
| His parents were loving yet distant as they were frequently away from home for their jobs. In their place, he was raised by his bangya aunt who never got married. His aunt practically raised him on Visual Kei music and he grew up always wanting to be like the bands he and his aunt adored. |

| Ruka is the calm and quiet that sym-PHONY otherwise lacks. Despite being the least talkative and most timid of the group, Ruka makes up for his silence with his looks. His charming point is his androgyny and ability to pull off anything he wears. The few times he sings, his voice is melodic and unlike any of the others in his unit. His performances are typically interactive with the other members of sym-PHONY along with the crowd. |

| Ruka was born to an average family who already had a 5 year old son at the time of his birth. Despite this, they raised him the best that they could and as equal to his older brother as possible. |
| In the years leading up to high school, he had started to show an interest in becoming an idol of some sort due to the idols he saw on TV. This in addition to his love for the outfits these idols were wearing were what sparked this interest. His older brother made fun of him for this but with his parents' encouragement he sent in his application. |

| Ruka was born to Japanese parents as the second child. Seven years after he was born the third and final child of the family would be born. |
| After getting into visual kei, his parents would disapprove of his wish to look and dress more femininely to the point where they wouldn't let him leave the house if he were to dress up how he wanted to. He'd find ways around this but his relationship with his parents has forever been damaged due to their unwillingness to accept him as he is. |
| His older brother was 5 years old when he was born and was happy to have a younger brother. As the years have passed, they've grown more distant but they occasionally go out for brunch along with the youngest brother, when he isn't in class, of course. |

Despite all of this, off stage he’s more akin to a stray dog wandering around waiting for someone to take him in. | Family |
| Toui is the only child of his Japanese father and Filipino mother. He was born and raised in the Philippines where they lived alongside his mother's parents. |
| However, a few years prior to him entering high school his father's father ended up getting sick so he and his father moved to Japan to take care of him. During this time, his mother decided to stay back with her parents since they were also in less than ideal health. They would keep in touch over phone calls and through letters until they could take a flight to visit each other. |
| By the time he was about to enter high school his mother's parents had both passed and so she moved to Japan to live with her husband and son again. At this time, Toui was asking for their opinions on him entering an idol school to pursue music. Both of his parents greatly encouraged him and helped him do the research into finding a good school for him. He would end up applying to Yumenosaki and getting in, though he also applied to Reimei as another option. |

| Toshiki is the idol representative and vice president of CORE VEIL. As the most responsible of the group, Toshiki does most of the planning and paperwork for sym-PHONY. He makes sure no one messes with the finer print for the unit and will go to extreme measures to ensure stability. Possibly due to his seriousness, he appears very unapproachable and most people are initially intimidated by him. However when he does warm up to someone he becomes protective and will do anything to make sure nothing happens to them. He sings with a deep, overpowering voice sure to put anyone in their place and freeze all listeners. His performances are strong and unforgettable. |

| Toshiki’s parents are both rich and famous individuals in both business and technology. Since a young age they have attempted to force Toshiki into the same path they took resulting in a distant and tense relationship with their eldest son. As the eldest, they had expected Toshiki to be the one to take over their company after they retire but Toshiki has never had any interest or desire in doing so. |
| Being forced into a high school meant to prepare children to join the upper echelons of society, he became a bit of a rebel in his teen years. He was on the roof more often than he was in a classroom until he met someone in a similar predicament to himself. These two become very close and a traumatic event occurs causing Toshiki to gain a hard and apathetic shell. |
